Showing the jobs of a hairstylist, a barber and a beautician and the transformations they bring about on an entire family. Barbers and Beauticians are shown to be the benchmarks of American beauty. This film, made by the AFL-CIO, also gives us a more detailed view of what barber and beauty shops were like before the 60s revolution.
