While shooting a role in a feature film in Houston, TX a few years ago (called "Love and Mary" -- you can find it here amzn.to ), a couple of friends on the film who knew Mediocre Films challenged me to write and shoot a new sketch while we were on location at a Science Fair set. So on our lunch break I wrote this li'l sketch and shot it in about 10 minutes as the crew was setting up for the film after lunch. That's why it's not only truly mediocre, but why you can hear crew in the background and see set lights and flags in the back of some shots. We did the best we could with the challenge! The actresses who play Katie and Mrs. Katie actually played my wife and daughter in the feature film.
